BS 9792:2025 replaces PAS 79-2 as the housing FRA code of practice. Two things differ: sections scope around housing rather than general buildings, and the evidence model is explicit. FRA Flow’s data model and report skeleton sit on BS 9792 from the start, not on a PAS 79 form.

Today FRA Flow is built around BS 9792:2025, the housing code of practice. Non-residential premises (offices, retail, schools, healthcare, hospitality, industrial) sit on a different standards track. A PAS 79 mode is on the roadmap and will share the same evidence model, AI drafting and sign-off workflow you see today, with the section catalogue and report skeleton swapped to fit each sector. Our biggest landlord client mandates Riskbase. Can we still use FRA Flow?

Where do photos and assessment data live?

Database, file storage, application servers and AI inference all run in UK or EU regions. No customer data leaves the EEA at any point in the pipeline. Our sub-processors and DPA are listed on the security page.

What does competent person sign-off look like?

FRA Flow has a two-step lock: the assessor finishes the report and sends it to the reviewer’s queue; your competent person reads the high-risk sections, the AI-drafted paragraphs and any flagged edits, then signs off.
